I have been a long-time fan of Kiera Knightly since I first laid eyes upon her in Pirates of the Carribbean. Thus when King Arthur was finally released, I had the pleasure of catching Her Knightly at the theaters. Seriously, I don’t know what the whole fuss was about when a lot of people complained about the movie. I guess after hearing so much bad press about it, I went in with very low expectations, and it probably was for the better. Of course, there could have been more character development, sure they did not really follow the better known version of the story, and definitely we could do with more steamy scenes of Ms. Knightly, but when taken purely from the point of entertainment value, the movie scored high marks in my books. There were plenty action, I heard more than once, gasps of astonishment or fear from the lady audiences and some parts of the conversation were quite witty. All in all, I think King Arthur serves its purpose to entertain, and that is all anyone should expect from the movie (but of course we can never have enough of Kiera Knightly). I enjoyed it 🙂
