Crysis – awesome FPS
I used to play quite a lot of FPS (First-Person Shooter), including the overly-hyped Halo and Halo 2, the original Quake, Doom, Doom II, even Serious Sam, Conker, Chronicles of Riddick and of course the very excellent Counterstrike. Although I did not try the most recent releases like Prey, Half-Life 2, F.E.A.R. or Battlefield 2142, the video I watched on this new up-and-coming game – Crysis looks absolutely splendid.
Apparently it’s still nearing alpha stage, but by the looks of it, Crytek and EA will be serving up some serious kickass action with this title.
This game is one of PC Gamer’s Top 10 Games of 2007. To fully appreciate the game, you need to haev multi-core processers (quad) as well as DirectX 10 that currenly only Nvidia 8800 has it. Supposed to be out by Q1 2007. If so, don’t think the hardware is still affordable by then.
Definitely an impressive game that is much talked about for at least a year.
